What is a Ceramic Coating?

Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that chemically bonds to your vehicle's clear coat, paint, glass, or gel coat. It creates a hydrophobic nano-glass layer of protection - invisible to the eye, but locked in until it wears down years from now.

Why It Matters

Wax lasts about two months. A professional ceramic coating lasts 3 to 5 years. It blocks UV that fades paint, repels water and road grime, and reduces washing time by half.

 

Ceramic isn't a cosmetic upgrade - it's how you keep your finish looking factory-new for years instead of letting it oxidize in months.

Every ceramic begins with proper prep, not a quick wash. Three levels, each tackling something different:

  1. Wash - lifts loose dirt and road grime

  2. Decontamination - strips bonded contaminants (iron, tar, sap, water spots) that washing can't reach

  3. Paint correction (optional but recommended) - eliminates embedded defects (swirls, oxidation, clear coat damage)

 

Ceramic locks in whatever's on the surface. We prep to the level your finish needs - shortcuts show through the gloss.

What to Expect

  1. Free consultation. We assess your vehicle's surface condition and discuss whether paint correction is needed first.

  2. Quote within 24 hours covering paint correction (if applicable), ceramic application, and timeline.

  3. Signed agreement and 50% deposit. Project scheduled.

  4. Drop-off and prep. Wash, decontamination, and (if needed) paint correction first.

  5. Application. Multi-step ceramic coating in a controlled environment.

  6. Curing. 24-48 hours indoors before pickup.

  7. Pick up with an aftercare guide.

KJCC Workmanship Warranty: 30 days
Manufacturer Materials Warranty: 3-5 years (Adam's Polishes)
