About Me

My name is Kyle Jordan

I grew up around cars. My family opened one of the earliest Ford dealerships in the United States in Grove City, Pennsylvania, back in the early 1900's, so this work has always been part of who I am.

After a decade in the software industry building and leading customer success programs, I came back to it in 2021 to build KJ Custom Cars. What I brought with me wasn’t just business experience, but a mindset around precision, consistency, and doing right by every customer.

Over time, I’ve learned that this craft comes down to more than just training. The Johnson O’Connor Research Foundation identified three natural aptitudes that directly support the work I do:

  • Structural visualization - seeing how materials will lie across complex curves before the work begins

  • Finger dexterity - the fine motor precision required for clean, seamless finishes

  • Color differentiation - the ability to detect subtle variations in tone and finish for a more exact, consistent result

I’ve paired that foundation with certifications from 3M, Avery Dennison, and Adams Polishes, training directly from the manufacturers behind the materials I use every day.

But what matters most is how the work is done.

Whether I’m working on a daily driver, a performance vehicle, a motorcycle, a boat, an airplane or helping a business protect and represent its brand, the approach stays the same. Every project is handled by me personally from start to finish. No handoffs, no shortcuts, no guessing who’s working on your vehicle or asset.

People come to KJ Custom Cars for different reasons. Some want to protect something they’ve worked hard for. Some want to elevate how it looks. Others need their business to show up professionally and consistently in the real world.

My job is to deliver work that reflects that - clean, precise, and built to last.
